Embodied only at the gate
Part follows the sun and moon;
Part is slow, and cold in the earth.

Part is out in days which have not yet come;
Part is inward, the inheritor of pasts
muddy and debatable.

The sense of I takes origin
in the places wordlessly allowed:
grows strong at the boundarys approach,
is embodied only at the gate.

-----The self-assigning
-----day defining
-----all that seems.
-----Its mind redeems.
